Settled across the tranquil greenery of Lana‘i is one of the most breathtaking courses in Paradise - The
Experience at Koele. This is the first golf course in the United States designed by Australian professional golfer
Greg Norman. And, since its opening in 1991, few courses anywhere have generated as much excitement and
applause as The Experience. Together with architect Ted Robinson, Norman has created a rugged yet compellingly
beautiful golf course carved out of forested green mountains, steep valley gorges and windswept high
plains. The par 72 course measures 7,014 yards from the black tees and 6,628 yards from the blues. Golfers
will be treated to panoramic cross channel vistas of Maui and Molokai, occasional sightings of Axis deer that
outnumber the human population, wild turkeys skittering across fairways, and dramatic changes in elevations.
